Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using Tins. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tins application ("the App"), operated by Alejo Rousseau ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tins. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent.
3. Your account
Registration
You may sign up using an email address, Apple ID, or Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.
Account security
Notify us immediately at hi@tins.rousseau.ar if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Content you upload
Ownership
You retain full ownership of the content you upload to your vaults (photos, videos, voice recordings, notes and other materials, collectively "Content").
Licence to us
By uploading Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and deliver that Content solely for the purpose of operating the App. We do not use your Content for any other purpose.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for the Content you upload. You represent and warrant that your Content:
- Is owned by you or you have the necessary rights to upload it
- Does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy or other rights
- Does not violate any applicable law or regulation
- Does not contain malware, viruses, or other harmful code
5. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the App to:
- Upload, share or distribute illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene or hateful content
- Harass, abuse or harm another person
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' vaults or our systems
- Use automated means to scrape, crawl or extract data from the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
6. Vaults and contributors
When you create a shared vault, you are the owner. You control who may join as a contributor. By inviting a contributor, you acknowledge that they will be able to add content to and view the open vault.
Contributors may only view vault contents after the opening date. The vault owner is responsible for the invitations they issue.
7. Intellectual property
All rights in the App — including its design, code, branding and underlying technology — are owned by us or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our trademarks, logos or trade names.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from loss of data.
We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of any Content uploaded by users.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 10 if no payment was made.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and request account deletion by contacting hi@tins.rousseau.ar.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms. We will provide notice where reasonably practicable.
11. Changes to these terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Argentina, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the City of Buenos Aires.
